EA Sports, the game developer that requires no introduction, recently came out with the Fifa Soccer 2012 for the iOS Devices.
Two versions of the app have been released, one targeting the iPad and the other for the iPhone and the iPod touch. The iPad version was supposedly meant to utilize the hardware capabilities of the device (which I guess you will not notice since EA didn’t really do much with them) while the other, less expensive, version had been optimized for the iPhone and the iPod Touch. Despite the different builds, both games have similar features.
The game allows players to choose from 500+ international clubs from the top leagues and 32 real stadiums to play your matches at. You can play as your favourite player with the Play like a Superstar Mode or be the gaffer and scout for players and get busy in the transfer marker with the Manager Mode. The game has nice vibrant graphics and smooth and user friendly controls placed nicely on the screen for a comfortable playing experience. It also features realistic 360 player movement and awesome skill moves which make it even more fun.
The neat thing about the Fifa Soccer 12 iPad version is its support for the iPhone and the iPod Touch to connect as wireless controllers for the match being played on the iPad. It’s like playing the game on a console! It only supports two players though but it’s a novel feature and you won’t find it in any other soccer games out there for iOS devices, so at least pretend to be content.
For all those soccer fans who own an iOS device, this is a must buy game!
For iPhone and iPod Touch, the price tag is $4.99 Buy It
For iPad the price tag is $9.99 Buy It
